Just this past week, at General Assembly in New Orleans, the LEGO® Chalice was a hit. My husband, Brian Watson from Watson Studios, took a LEGO Chalice and had it on display in his booth. He told me how he'd engage young people by pointing out the LEGO bricks and ask them if they wanted to build a chalice. They engaged with the bricks, just like I envisioned. One night, before leaving the exhibit hall for the evening, he took the chalice apart and left the LEGO bricks on the table. When he arrived the next morning, someone had built a different vision of a vessel. This is exactly what I hoped for when I created the LEGO chalice.
If you were at General Assembly this year, did you see Brian and the LEGO Chalice in the exhibit hall? What do you think?

While searching for a way to illustrate my building instructions for the LEGO® chalice, I did a lot of searching on the web. I found software to download, but that wouldn't work on my Chromebook. Then I found, Build With Chrome, experiments.withgoogle.com/search?q=LEGO. What a challenging and engaging activity. It is fun as an adult and kids find it engaging too.
